ORDERS
Indeed, it is possible to cancel or modifiy your order within 24 hours after purchasing it online. Once this period has elapsed, it is unfortunatly not possible to make a change. This allows us to optimize our processing times !
On the other hand, since we guarantee the quality of our products, if you have any dissatisfaction related to them, contact us by writing via our email address: taigalapinede@gmail.com
To verify your order, you can use the confirmation email you received in your inbox (check your spam; it goes there sometimes!)
For environmental reasons, we unfortunately do not offer samples. On the other hand, demonstrators are generally available at our retailers and we have a kind heart for our customers, so we often slip small gifts into the shipping boxes ! 😉
SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICIES
Since we manufacture everything in small quantities to ensure the freshness of the product, we want to take the time to make them by hand before shipping them by Canada Post. It normally takes 1 to 4 days to make your order and then 2 to 3 days for the delivery. However, living in Quebec and having exceptional seasonal variations, it could be possible that the order time reach up tp 7 working days.
Please note that if an order is placed after 4 pm on Friday it will be processed by the following Monday only.
Delivery is offered in Canada only for a 11.99$ fee
Delivery is free for orders of 100$ before taxes.
If any long delay occurs write us a mail ! We will be happy to answer you and follow up with Canada Post.
If you realize this error within 24 hours, you can go back to your emails and modify it with the delivery services.
If you have accidentally passed this deadline, you can take a picture showing the invoice number and send it to us via our email address: taigalapinede@gmail.com
For any package that has been returned to us due to an error from the customer (example if you forget to register an apartment number), delivery costs for the return of 12$ will be required even if the order originally benefited from free delivery.
Taïga – la Pinède guarantees the quality and freshness of its products.
We offer a credit note or exchange in the event of a defect only, and within 7 days of receipt of the order. The default does not include possible mishaps suffered by Canada Post transport.
A picture or the return of the product may be required.

PRODUCTS
No, our deodorant does not stain clothes.
Yes, Taïga – la Pinède products have been especially designed to satisfy all skin types. We only use oils with a low comedogenicity index (C.I)... an index that tells us about the potential for a fatty substance to clog the pores of the skin.
Unfortunately no, but several ingredients are; including oils, preservatives and botanicals. We work on the development of eco-responsible, organic and local products and try our best to find Quebec, ecological and responsible alternives.
Our bath milk as well as our massaging oils are, indeed, vegan.
Therefore, all our products in solid form aren't since we use regional beeswax from responsible beekeeping in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
All our products are made from simple and natural ingredients.
Although, we do not use common allergens, it is still possible that one of the ingredients could cause reactions or redness. If so, send us a picture with an explanation of what happened and we'll find a solution for you ! If reaction gets worse we recommend you to see a health practitioner.
We have developed special product for pregnant person and younger child. If this is your case, take a look at our maternity collection! 🙂
Our packaging is all recyclable.
Some of our containers are made of recycled plastics while the glass and aluminum ones come from Canada itself.
Our products are handmade and created with love in Rimouski, Bas-Saint-Laurent in Quebec/Canada.
By respecting storage recommendations of the products, there have a shelf life of one year.
We have opted for amber containers so that the contents are protected from the light and suffer as little deterioration as possible. Therefore, we recommend that you keep your products in a place without too much humidity, otherwise their lifespan could be reduced.
HOW TO USE
You can use a small wooden utensil, your fingers or even a very soft sea pebble. You put the amount of a pea and you apply this cream under your armpit. Et Voilà!
Absolutely ! I would recommend maternity products to make sure the essential oils don't hurt your four-legged friend. For example, Petite-Mousse makes wonders for dog's cracked pads.
Absolutely ! With the change of the season and the variation of temperature in homes, our products tend to fluctuate in their consistency. We are committed to all-natural skincare and that's why we do not use stabilizers. If for example, in winter, your deodorant becomes harder, it is simply because the coconut oil and bee wax inside the product has hardened due to the cooling of your environment. You just have to heat it up a lil' more between your fingers or to heat up your room a little and that should do ! To ensure the consistency of your product, we suggest that you store it in a place where the temperature is stable... it not, you can tell yourself that your natural products remind you of the changes in season and live humbly with this variability that brings us back to inconstancy and movement ! 🙂
Absolutely ! Since we create all-natural skincare and use raw materials without any stabilizers added, the consistency of the butters (for example shea butter) in the balm and ointments may change with the temperature variability of your environment.
There is nothing wrong there ! Everything is normal; you just have to warm the balm a little more between your fingers before the application.
OUR ENTERPRISE
Taïga – la Pinède wants to bring together plants, roots and flowers grown without chemical additives and transform them with the greatest respect to shape simple, healthy and local everyday products. We use what the nature offers us tu consume less, consume better and thus put a balm on the ills of everyday life without artifical products or tablets.
The environmental footprint being an issue, we try to choose recyclable or recycled and/or reusable glass containers from Quebec producers.
We also reuse packaging or our inventory orders as much as possible. So if your product is mailed to you in a bubble envelope or you find plastic stuffing in your package, it's simply because we received these items from a supplier and that we think it is more eco-responsible to reuse them rather than throw them away !
By the way, you could do the same, if you feel like it !
